Atlas Family Hub is a private household information display used by one family for organization, schedules, chores, reminders, and related household information.
Google Calendar access
Atlas Family Hub can connect to a household Google Calendar using read-only access. Google Calendar remains the authoritative source of calendar information.
The Google authorization granted to Atlas Family Hub permits it to view calendar events. Atlas Family Hub does not use this authorization to create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events.
Information accessed
When Google Calendar access is authorized, Atlas Family Hub may retrieve information needed to display calendar events, including:
- event titles
- event dates and times
- all-day event dates
- event descriptions
- event locations
- recurring-event occurrence information
Atlas Family Hub does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, Google Contacts, or unrelated Google Account information through this Calendar integration.
How calendar information is used
Calendar information is used only to display household scheduling information on the private Atlas Family Hub system. A limited, non-authoritative local cache of event information is maintained so the household display can present the calendar reliably.
Calendar information is not used for advertising, profiling, marketing, or sale.
Storage and security
Google Calendar data and OAuth authorization credentials are stored on a private household device. OAuth credentials are not stored on this public website and are not included in the public Atlas Family Hub source code.
The public website at atlas.riversofsuggestion.com is informational only and does not provide access to the household Family Hub application, household calendar cache, or home network.
Sharing of information
Atlas Family Hub does not sell Google user data or share household calendar information with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Data retention
Atlas Family Hub maintains only the local calendar information needed for its bounded household calendar display. Cached calendar data is refreshed from Google Calendar and older or removed occurrences are retired from normal display as synchronization occurs.
Revoking access
Google Calendar access can be revoked at any time through the Google Account security and connected-app settings. After access is revoked, Atlas Family Hub will no longer be able to refresh Google Calendar data.
Public website
This website does not require an account and does not intentionally collect personal information. The website hosting provider may maintain ordinary web-server logs as part of normal hosting operations.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if Atlas Family Hub's Google integration or data-handling practices materially change.
